Thanks to the high quality and the cast aluminum, you can enjoy the Nordic Ware baking pans for a lifetime. Provided you treat the pan well before, during and after baking, of course. All Nordic Ware baking pans have a non-stick coating, but you will still need to grease the pan for the best and tastiest result. There are two ways to do this properly: * Use a vegetable butter and evenly distribute it over the entire baking pan with a rubber brush, make sure to cover all corners and crevices. Then lightly dust the pan with flour. Shake it well in the pan, so that flour is also in all corners. Did you succeed? Then you can shake off the excess flour from the pan. * Use a baking spray. But be careful, not every baking spray is suitable. Pay particular attention to the fact that the baking spray is vegetable and does not contain lecithin. Lecithin can eventually leave a sticky layer in the baking pan, which will cause the non-stick coating to no longer work at all. It is also useful if the baking spray contains flour. It is important that you spread the spray evenly in the pan using a rubber brush. Once the baking pan is well greased, you can fill it with the batter, never fill the baking pan more than 2/3 full to prevent leakage. Then it is time to put your baking pan with batter in the oven. The temperature and baking time of the batter in the oven will of course depend on the recipe, so keep an eye on it. To make sure your cake comes out of the oven properly, it is best to use a thermometer to check the core temperature. Is your cake ready? Let it cool in the pan
